If the employee resides in NY, you will not be able to enroll Colonial Whole Life, Accident, Disability, or CI. Waive the benefits to finish out the record. They can enroll in Colonial Dental.
IF YOU ENROLL SOMEONE AND THE BENEFIT CONFIRMATION FORM (BE SURE TO SEND TO EACH PARTICIPANT) AND SEE THAT THE EFFECTIVE DATE FOR MEC IS DIFFERENT FROM THE EFFECTIVE DATE FOR ANY OTHER PRODUCTS, NOTIFY TAMMY RIGHT AWAY.
2022 Open Enrollment (July 1, 2022)-premiums for all MEC elections are lower than last year. Passive enrollment…all elections stay the same unless a current participant makes changes…no need for a life event.
MEC: Pure Health (July 1, 2021-added a new EAP to the MEC ) – this is a brand new benefit that is attached to the MEC plans starting on July 1, 2021. It is not optional. Please review the EAP benefit with each employee.
MEC: two plans from Pure Health – website: gotpurehealth.com

* please remind the employee that these products are completely portable if they leave KNA with no change in premiums or amounts of coverage. they can set up direct bill and continue having the plans in place that will pay in addition to anything their new employer may offer (this is common with Tesla and Impossible Foods folks who currently work for KNA but may get hired by the company they are temping for).
